CONTEXT USED IN:
When we see someone going through a
turmoil where everything they set out to do in ministry fails and they seem
blocked on every side, the Lord will often give revelation and have us let
them know,
“The Lord is taking you through a death of a vision so that
you can let the old die, so that He might resurrect a new and more glorious
vision!”

Templates and Triggers
AUTHOR:
Les D. Crause
ProphPreparation 5:20-21
"I would like to speak here about
moving from death to resurrection. We looked in the previous chapter on
Prophetic Preparation at how God brings us to the cross; about how He brings
to death those things in us that stand in the way of our spiritual progress.
We spoke about things such as death of a vision, where a vision is born in
you and you build up your anticipation of what you are going to do for God.
You get excited about it, set your plans in motion, you are all ready to go,
and suddenly God says, "Kill! Stop! Cancel! It is over, it is not going to
happen anymore." You get all miserable and upset and do not know what is
going on. You say, "But I am sure that God wanted me to do that."
21 Why does God bring you to death of a vision? Because
your hard disk is full of junk."

CONTEXT USED IN:
When a student is struggling to die and
justifying their sin and flesh, we will often say “Die Already!” meaning that they must stop struggling and understanding what is going
on and willingly submit to the cross and the Lord’s dealings in their life.

The Prophetic Key
AUTHOR:
Les D. Crause
ProphOffice 8:4-5
"When is the key given? It is given on completion of the prophetic
preparation. What is the prophetic preparation? Well, the chances
are if you are reading this booklet you have already read the
booklet that came earlier in this series on the prophetic
preparation. We went into it in quite a lot of detail. It had to
do with the 'hell' you have been through for most of your life, or
for a good few years. It had to do with the way you have been
crunched, and the way everything has gone wrong; and the way
people have opposed you and put you down, and hammered you into
the ground. It is about the way you have had to die to self again
and again; about how you were put on the cross and God had to keep
breaking your legs because you kept kicking up and trying to stay
alive.
5
You know what I'm talking about if you are a prophet. You have
been there. Maybe you are still in the middle of it and you are
saying, "Why should I put up with this? Why should I go through
all this nonsense?" Well, do you want the key? What is the way to
receive it? It is through death. It is the way through the cross.
It is the way of coming to the place where you are no longer
concerned about your own interests and your own desires; where you
are no longer concerned about making a name for yourself; where
you are no longer concerned about what people think about you;
where you are no longer concerned about using your ministry to
have interest in yourself and vindicate yourself and take your
anger out on other people. "

Dealing With Saul
AUTHOR:
Colette Toach
DavidDynamic 10:16-20
"{ Dying to Everything }
17 How do you overcome? This is the good part.
18 "I'm ready Lord. I see it. I have these needs and
I'm ready to overcome them. How do I do it?"
19 Then the Lord says, "Die already!"
20 Those are two simple, yet deadly words. You will
overcome in death, apostle. It is the only way you will overcome, because
when your flesh is crucified with Christ and it is no longer you that lives,
Christ that is within you can rise up in Spirit and in glory and power. You
will overcome in death. That is where you will overcome."

CONTEXT USED IN:
The Lord will often lead us to release
a person into resurrection after He has taken them through a season of death
to self and death to their ministry. We will often be released to say,
“It is time to put the grave behind you and to move on to resurrection!”

Resurrection is a Choice
AUTHOR:
Colette Toach
ProphPreparation 10:41-42
"That is where you should be
standing. It is not good enough to just resurrect. It is not good enough to
just be okay. It is not good enough to just get by. It is just not good
enough to have one revelation, one vision or one prophecy. It is not good
enough to dream one dream. It is not good enough to just get by as a prophet
with one word of wisdom every now and again. No!
42 The Lord has more for you than that. He has more for
you than sitting in the back of the church getting one little word once a
week. He has more for you. If you are happy to simply come through a little
test and stay there and not grow up and be glorified and take on the
promotion that He has given you, you will not progress to anywhere. If Jesus
had not ascended up into heaven and been glorified, He would not be seated
at the right hand of the Father right now. He would still be sitting on
earth."

CONTEXT USED IN:
When a prophet or apostle in training
continually resists the chisel strokes of the Lord and His leading to the
cross, He will often have us warn them,
“If you do not receive this
will and submit to the dealings of God in your life now, you will have your
legs broken”
or
“If you do not die to this thing now when the Lord is using
those that love you to correct, you will have to face a leg-breaking from
the world that does not love you!”

CHAPTER:
The Prophetic Preparation
AUTHOR:
Les D. Crause
ProphPreparation 4:52-58
"{ The Necessity for Leg-Breaking
}
53 Jesus did not take that long to die. He hung on the
cross and He said, "Father, into your hands I commit My spirit." And the
Scripture says that He yielded up His spirit and He died. The thieves who
were crucified on the cross with Him, did not do that. They struggled and
they battled, and because the sun was going down and they did not want to
leave the bodies on the cross on the Sabbath, the Scripture says that the
guards came to break their legs.
54 Why did they break their legs? I always used to
wonder. That was really mean of them. I mean, as if they guys have not
suffered enough, now they still want to come and smash their legs? It was so
they could not push up on the cross and keep breathing, because as soon as
their legs were broken they would just have to hang there and suffocate to
death and they would die.
55 { Learning to Die Like Jesus }
56 Jesus was different though. When they came to Him
they saw that He was already dead, so they did not have to break His legs.
They just put a spear in His side to make sure that He was already dead. So
when God begins to move on you and bring to death in you all of these things
of the flesh that stand in the way of you being used as a prophet, you have
a choice. You can struggle, you can fight, you can kick. You can push up
against it and moan and groan and bewail your situation. Or you can say,
"Hold it! I think I'm being crucified here. I think the reason for this is
so I can die."
57 It is quite simple really. You just do like Jesus
and you say, "Okay, Father, I get it. Lord, you're trying to bring me to the
end. I die now. I let it go. I give it to you. I hand it over to you and
commend my spirit into your hands and I let go." And you can die in minutes.
It is so easy.
58 You say, "Well, it's easy for you to talk, you
haven't been there."
