5 The first sign that the dream is external is that you
are not an active participant. You stand on the outside looking in, as if
you are watching a theatre show before you, with the events being played
out. If you have these dreams very often, it could very well be that the
Lord has called you to the Prophetic Ministry, and you are not aware of it
yet, because this is very much the function of the prophet - to receive
directive words for the Body of Christ. The Lord will use visions and
dreams, prophecy, word of knowledge and word of wisdom.

"The next dream is the cleansing dream.
These dreams are by far the most common. As you walk through your day you
face temptations, you face fights, strife and pressure. You face all kinds
of stimuli that are coming at you from all sides. Your boss got on your
case, your husband is giving you a tough time, the kids have been screaming.
You have built up these emotions within, and you have tried to remain in
control during the day. The chances are that night you are dreaming you are
bashing your boss in the nose. You have built up all that anger during the
day and you have controlled yourself, but in your dreams you may actually
dream that you are doing exactly as you desired to do during the day, but
held back on.
36 These are cleansing dreams, and all they do is
simply let your inner man express the temptations and desires and all the
natural, fleshly passions out in your dream in a safe environment where you
are not affecting anybody or hurting anybody, and it gives you a release. It
gives you a relief. As you dream these cleansing dreams, all that built up
and pent up emotion that sits in your stomach, is released. And when you
wake up you feel relieved of that pressure and that anger that was built in
you from the night before."

- "That is the only information you need to
receive from somebody when interpreting their vision for them. Where and
when did they receive that vision? What were the circumstances that
surrounded that vision? The minute you know what those circumstances were,
you know where to aim that interpretation, whether it should be aimed
directly at the person, or whether it is external and must therefore be
aimed at those they saw in the vision."

- "Firstly, identify the type of the
vision. Ask the person concerning their circumstances. If they were alone
during praise and worship or just in prayer,
then the revelation is internal and for themselves. If they were interceding
for somebody in particular or if they were ministering to somebody or
amongst a particular group of people, then that vision is very likely
external. This means that the interpretation and revelation was meant for
that group or that person or church that he or she was ministering to."
