When a prophet moves into prophetic
office, they will be led to speak forth decree instead of just words of
knowledge and general prophecy. We would say,
“Use your prophetic authority
to decree the will of God into the earth”
or
“There is power and
authority in the decree of the prophet”
or
“I released that
person into prophetic office through prophetic decree”
or
“I
opened that door for the Body of Christ through Apostolic Decree.”

Word is to go into the earth, it does not come out of the ether. It comes
out through a body that is made from the elements of the earth, because only
a spirit living in a human body can speak forth the words of authority into
the earth. It is the way God has made it. That is the way God has decreed
it, because He put man in control of this earth. And when God desires to
speak forth His Words into the earth, he will speak it through human lips.
12 When the prophets of old spoke, they predicted and
they made decrees of what was going to happen in the last days and in the
end times. They were not only predicting, they were speaking into existence
the very thing that God had decreed. They were sending into the earth the
very decree of Almighty God. They were uttering and issuing a decree, which
could not be retracted."

"{ Three Categories of Prophet }
19 You will notice in the passages you read concerning
Elijah and Elisha, that there are three different categories or levels of
prophets that are spoken of. I want to mention them here briefly right at
the beginning. You see firstly Elijah, who was the senior prophet. He was
the one who was in charge of all the other prophets, and the one who was
qualified to train the others. Then you see Elisha, who was the student
under Elijah. Elijah became his mentor, his master and his trainer, and he
learned under him.
20 The third group you see were known as 'the sons of
the prophets.' They were students, if you like, in the 'School of the
Prophets.' This was a school that Elijah set up for all those who were being
trained. They were prophets, but they were not quite in the same category as
Elisha. And we see that Elisha is not quite in the same category as Elijah.
You will see the difference as we continue and consider how God prepares
each one. I want to look firstly at God's preparation and training of
Elijah, and after that, the preparation and training of Elisha. Then finally
we will look at the general training of prophets in a Prophetic School."

6 Why does God have to put the prophet through such a

the prophet is God's spokesman. The prophet is the person who is to speak
forth God's Word into the earth, not only to the church or to individuals,
but to speak and to send forth God's very Word into the earth. God says in
the Old Testament that He does nothing except He reveal His secrets to His
servants the prophets.
7 The
prophet needs to come to a place of being fit for the Master's use, because
God is going to entrust him with His secrets and with the knowledge of what
He is planning to do in the earth. A word spoken out of season or spoken
incorrectly, a word spoken badly and in the wrong direction, could change
the entire destiny of lives of the Body of Christ, of God's purposes in the
earth."

squashed and pushed and being prevented from functioning.
40 { When is the Key Received? }
41 But when God takes you from preparation and your
training begins, that is when you are given the key. And when you are given
the key, your training consists of teaching you how to use that key. Now it
is possible that you may be trained in the Spirit by the Lord Himself. But
the chances are God is going to send you somebody. He is going to send you
another prophet who is going to impart that key to you and is then going to
take you and mentor you, train you and disciple you as Elijah did to Elisha.
Why? Because you do not know how to use the key yet. That is why."

21 Such dreams and revelation in the Scripture are
commonly known as "divination". If you look up the word divination in the
Hebrew you will find the words related to it are "soothsaying and
foretelling", neither of which are from the Spirit of God. God does not
foretell by soothsaying. He declares His will to His prophets and to His
people, so that they might speak forth His Word into the earth and bring His
will to manifest in the natural. The Lord is not in the business of fortune
telling for your common interest and knowledge. He is not in the business of
foretelling for self-promotion and financial gain. That is not how the Lord
works. Unfortunately` this is something that has become very prevalent today
as people are starting to move into the gifts of the Spirit.
22 We have received many applications since we launched
the GMR Prophetic School, where an applicant will say very clearly, "I am a
prophet, because I dream of things before they happen. I have received this
gift from God, because even before I was saved, I received revelation about
people and personal information. I know what's going to happen to them
before it does. I dreamt of when my brother died, my auntie died, my best
friend died. I dreamt of this before they died."
23 This revelation is not from the Spirit of God. And
if you are experiencing this type of revelation, I want you to know right
now that this is a spirit of divination. It is a spirit of witchcraft. It is
of Satan, and you have given the enemy a hold in your life somewhere, that
he has been able to step in and deceive you, coming in the guise of the
revelation of the Lord."

'uh uh, no way.' You will sense it in your spirit. You will feel it. You
will feel it as a surge which says, "Yes, it is good, do it!" Or you will
feel a check in your spirit. It is a gut feel, an inner thing. It is a very
deep thing, and what is actually taking place is that God is speaking to you
